Novelty would like you to think he's a novelty, but actually, his roots are more down to earth than you think or can ever imagine. He was named after post office in rural Ohio (although some say, a bit unkindly, that he was dropped on the head there, which would explain his delusions).

Many rue the day he first appeared on CCG Workshop. Wildstorms was the game and jaycurl was kind enough to hand him three straight victories. Although he has progressed to the other games available on the engine he has not forgotten his devotion to Wildstorms and can still be seen trying to organise a tournament for the game every so often.

The game that he made his mark on gEngine, was not to be Wildstorms but Magi-Nation Duel. He was at the right place and knew the right people at the right time to have the plum (or is that the curse?) of the Engine's pie passed onto him. Since then he has taken up the project lead for various other games including the cult-orientated science-fiction Babylon 5 to much lighter, Reversi - the first boardgame on the engine and Yukk!, the game licensed by gEngine from Interactivities Ink. He has purportedly commissioned the creation of Dubya or the Elf ring of Dubious value.

In his spare time, you can probably find Novelty working on his site: Duke Nostalgia, which is a toy reference site, specialising on the action figures of the eighties. This site is acclaimed to be one of the best Centurions toy sites online. Toy-collectors near and far come to the site for the great scans of toys from yesteryear. Novelty's other interests include reading, swimming and travelling the globe.
