In a post-apocalyptic earth, you recruit warriors and lead them against other warlords, sacking enemy territory to establish your rule. Dark Age uses dice to create an element of randomness to the game. The game has solitaire rules, a seldom found feature in CCG's.
Expansions
Dark Age: Feudal Lords (1996) is a 231 card set. It was distributed in 36 booster boxes and 6 starter + 30 booster combo boxes. The starters included a Dark Age sticker and four Dark Age dice. Feudal Lords was the only set released for the game.
The game also features 2 promo cards. Efficiency Bot, the extremely hard to get GenCon giveaway and Clergy Ann which was distributed randomly in Guardians boosters.
Dark Age: The Brood was a planned expansion set, but it was never released.
